Measuring roughly 9 feet by 5 feet by 1 feet (in depth), this shell overdoor awning was carved from solid mahogany and set over double doors in Long Island, NY. The design came from the architect. The millwork fabricator glued up the blank to be 12” thick out of multiple pie shaped pieces and added the bent cornice afterwards.
