A Massachusetts client had a large period dining table in mahogany and wanted to create a full set of chairs to match, ten chairs and two armchairs for the head of the table. They went to VCA, Inc. in Northampton, MA, a furniture maker, who built the chairs and brought them to Dimitrios. They furnished a picture of an example of the design that they wanted and Dimitrios developed it into a design that could be applied to the chairs. The woodworker and Dimitrios were so pleased with the work that they produced two extra, keeping one each for themselves, as showpieces.
